Trust Fund
FAO's Trust Fund programme
is a form of "multibilateral" aid; bilateral in that one
country finances technical assistance in another, and multilateral in that an international
agency, in this case FAO, provides the technical expertise to execute projects on the ground.
The Trust Fund Programme is a development partnership between
- donors who provide funding
- FAO which provides the technical and operational expertise and
- the beneficiary countries (who may also contribute in cash and kind).
Czech Republic as a donor have funded Trust Fund projects and programmes including special
programmes for young professionals
